Its the most wonderful day... of the year...

I have my housekeeper back...

oops that was politically incorrect...

[Domestic Engineer]

I am SO happy you don't even know! She has already accomplished in 2 hours, what I haven't in 6 months!
Her English is so good too! We could talk before with my limited [housekeeper Spanish] but it was all wrong and I knew it!  For example I knew I was talking backwards to her but she understood me... see in Spanish the words are backwards... we say 'Hot Water' they say 'Aqua Caliente' or water hot...
So even tho my words were always backwards we could talk... I'll never forget the day she told me about 'the other woman' and her husband...
She told me today she NEVER went back to the SOB! Thank God! She said he now has 2 other kids with 2 other woman... So he cheated on the 'other' woman and had a baby with another one... Nice guy!
She said her little girl remembers me and she kept telling her "Mom, call Kendra!" she said she came by 3 times trying to see if I needed her... Oh boy... You HAVE no idea how bad I needed her!

You see I tried to keep the house up...

Remember Thursday's were for cleaning... my kids had to bring the clean laundry up, take dirty laundry down, vacuum, take the trash out of their rooms, make their beds... etc..
I would do 'our' room too!
However, Sam wouldn't back me in MAKING them do it... "Oh Kendra its their rooms, just let them shut the doors... I am tired of fighting them to do it"
Then I slowly gave up on the house too! Oh... the everyday stuff got done like the dishes, sweeping the kitchen floor once a week, mopping, that kind of stuff... but then the laundry began to pile up in the laundry room... everyone started using it to get dressed everyday... no one would help take stuff up to their rooms anymore...  The more laundry piled up, the more I got overwhelmed and didn't want to go in there... The clothing from the trailer we took to Texas is still in there... I kid you not!
If you are like Nurse Pam she said "Oh I know what you mean, when I get down to the last pair of clean underwear... its time to do laundry"  I started laughing... and told her... "Pam, I have a platinum card to Victoria Secret... I have... seriously 300 pairs of underwear... add to that a horrible towel fetish... and I don't HAVE to do laundry for a LONG time"
Oh sure I would run a load of Sam's clothes with some of mine, and our sheets,  but that was it! The pile continued to grow...

After Olga finishes the pile I will show you before and after pictures...

So anyway... I am so grateful for Olga... you don't even know!

I have to go to the high desert house for 2 days...  Man I will miss my wife Gram Pam! That girl can cook!

Behave while I am gone people!

Be very good to Olga. Olgas do not grow on trees :-)(we discussed this)   To add to the discussion we had earlier:
1) You are too valuable as a helpmate to Sam to be frittering away your time cleaning.
2) Doing too much laundry courts clinical depression.
3) Barbie drives a sports car & hangs at the beach....there is no "house cleaning Barbie edition."  Case closed. ~Mary

I just have to say that I TOTALLY LOVED Mary's comments, so I am seconding everything she said!

Have a great night, "Barbie"......(lol)
