Ok... I am back from a 5 hour drive to Grampa's house and back... UGH!!! We went to go get the 1942 Willy's WWII Jeep Grampa left to Sam...
Oh boy, what a job!
The tires were flat, one tire was missing and after Sam and Kieffer got it rolling...
We quickly found out it had NO BRAKES!
Pushing it up on the trailer... Wow... that was a chore...
Then I told Kieffer to get in it, so I could take a photo... He said "I don't fit! Guess I would have had to walk in WWII!"
I said "Nah you would have had to drive from the back seat"
He had me laughing all day...
When we got home a little while ago, Sam told him to go get the air compressor out of the back of the truck [its pretty heavy] Kieffer goes to pick it up and groans then he says in an old man voice
"I'm not as spry as I use to be"
I laughed "Oh really"
he said "Yup back in the 90's when I was a young-ster, you know...right around the turn of the century... picking this up was no problem..."
That kid cracks me up!
Now... we have to drive the Willy's up to the Hi Desert house in the morning...
Sam is killing me I tell ya!
Maybe its the diesel prices?
$150 to go do that today!
