Tooth fairies and doggies

Good Saturday morning everybody,
I have a question for all you dog owners out there... Does your dog ever bark at something that isn't there? This has only happened to me one other time...
A few years ago, Sam got a call about some gas in a house we were remodeling and had to run out the door to check on it at 11pm one night... About 20 minutes after he left, Rider stands up on my bed, and starts barking at something in my room that I could not see... his hackles were up and he was on guard...
[It freaked me out, I left the room and wouldn't go back to bed till Sam came home] and it never happened again till today...
I go downstairs to make coffee this morning and a few minutes later Rider is in the backyard barking his head off, standing with his hackles all up, I go to see what he is barking at... I could see Rider but I couldn't see around the corner at what he was seeing... so Gi Gi runs next to him and she freaks out, hackles up, barking.... I was thinking someone was in my backyard... but I didn't want them to attack whoever it was yanno... I already had 3 boys on my couch downstairs... [I was actually thinking maybe a girl spent the night or something... heard me coming down the stairs and tried to run outside and hide or something? Hell, I didn't know]
I walk around the corner... to see who it is... and there was nothing there?
They were still barking and scared to come over to where I had walked...
[I thought maybe someone was crouching down behind my huge trash cans or something... again nothing?]
It was weird... like they could see a ghost or something...

Oooo I just figured it out... it was the tooth fairy coming to give me my money... damn it and they scared her off... hope she comes back, I need that money to help pay for my new 'gold grill' LOL
[Sam was teasing me yesterday and said "Why don't you just put a diamond in one tooth... that would be better than a gold grill" hhhhhmmmm? that got me thinking... I wonder if I could have a bunch of teeth made, you know for different occasions... something scary for Halloween... maybe little Christmas trees for Christmas, diamonds for charity luncheons... hhhmmm?
I better decide before Monday... that is when they start fitting me for my new teeth... Monday 2pm, Tuesday, 2pm, Wednesday 2pm... then they head to the lab to be made... yah... can't wait... [looking like Mildred the 85 year toothless wonder is getting old] I will also find out when my 2nd surgery is...

August 14th it will all be over... who hoo only 20 more days...

Anyway below are some pics of my whiner-riners...
[Gi Gi is 4 yrs old and Rider is 8 years old...
Gi Gi is the Boss of the house, however if you move something in the house, she will freak out barking to tell you
"Look the trash can is not where its suppose to be!]

Rider... is below and the rest are Gi Gi

Yes animals sense spirits. Damn they scared the tooth fairy away. As many teeth as they took she'll be broke. Thats funny about GiGi freaking out when stuff is moved in the house. Wishing you all kinds of luck when you get those new teeth fitted.

Sorry I did not get your call, cause I do love speaking with you, but I now have 3 kittens(someone dropped another off saying my neighbor said I take in cats. NO. NO.) & I was doing collection calls. Folks hate collection calls on Saturday(evil grin).
When I had Shepherds they never barked at nothing but plenty of times there was a sound or movement I had not seen as fast as they.
That tooth fairy owes you a lot but it will all be going to the dental surgeon I am sure!

Its a GHOST ! My son when he was a baby did something that was similar. I thought there was a spirit of some kind in the room. He was smiling up at the ceiling, laughing. Wierd.
Hope your feeling better

Oh absolutely there was a ghost!! Animals have the greatest senses when it comes to things like that! And they also say they sense when there owners are going through things or like an earthquake is coming,  all kinds of things..........you just never know with animals...........hey i hope that tooth fairy has lots of money too, for all that you had to give up!! Can't wait to see you, i hope its tomorrow.

Love ya,

Pam

Who knows what dogs see or sense.  My dog barks at everything, every little noise he hears.  Have a good Sunday.

Joey's dog used to do that all the time. Once, he was on the bed with Joey's mom and he got up and growled and looked at the dresser. All of a sudden a picture on the dresser slammed down!
We don't know what they see.
So glad you're surgery will all be done soon. You'll be so much happier I'm sure.

BrainDead/Forrest, Forrest Gump AKA TJ barks at the wall. Why? Why not. TJ barks at nothing all day long. TJ makes me insane. Buddy only barked when he saw a black person or the mailman. Maddie never barks.
Your dogs are damn gorgeous. They take after YOU.
