Hi Everybody... miss me? 

I have been at the Hi Desert house since Monday... 

Remember I had dental appointments Mon, Tues, and Wed of this week? I went on Monday and it took 5 minutes...  they took molds of my mouth and it was over! Whoo Hoo I was so excited, it was so easy... Then yesterday was not so easy... They had to do all this shaping and fitting for my new teeth and I was sitting there white knuckling the chair!!! It hurt on my tender gums so bad! The dentist said he was sorry, they usually wait 3 weeks for the gums to heal but because of my time frame  they had to do it 7 days after surgery! The good news was they finished up what they had to do and I didn't have to come back today!

 

However, I am having the 2nd surgery in the morning at 10 am... I think this one should be a breeze tho... they are taking the rest of my teeth, and then the new ones will go in on Monday... unless I am not happy with the color or something else then they go back to the lab [4 days later I would get them]

 

It was hard to choose a color by looking at one tooth that color... it was weird... So I went with what the dentist and assistant recommended... I want WHITE, WHITE teeth but they said then they look fake... So I will let you know...

 

BTW... yes I felt the Earthquake yesterday... I was sitting on the couch, Sam was in the bedroom and I said "Earthquake"  It seemed to go East to West for me but Sam said it felt West to East to him... The house swayed back and forth a couple of times and that was it... Never felt any aftershocks...

I am a weirdo, I LOVE earthquakes.... They don't scare me at all... When you have lived through a 7.4 and the only thing that happened is water was knocked out of your pool, and a few things fell off the shelves... Then what is there to be afraid of? 

Our house was built in the Hi Desert after that 7.4 earthquake... and Sam built it to withstand another one like that... I think the only way you could freak me out during an earthquake... is if I am standing in Home Depot or Cost Co... LOL

 

Anyway, I have a first aid kit fit for any emergency... Huh Nurse Pam!!!

Ill be back on as soon as I can after surgery...

Saturday night...

Today Sam and I had to fix the pipes to the pool pump... they are PVC pipes and two of them cracked, which made my 'creepy crawly' not work...

 

*Creepy Crawly is a vacuum that cleans up all the dirt and stuff at the bottom of the pool, it moves continuously while the pump is on...

 

Anyway the point of my story was this...

 

Remember how I have been telling you guys how my hubby can run circles around me and I am tired all the time!

 

Well, I found out why...

 

When Sam and I went to the dentist for my first visit... They took 18 x-rays of my mouth/ teeth...

The Dr. said "I am really happy you came in Kendra, we can get your teeth done by August 14 and your going to have a LOT more energy when its over"

I was shocked! How in the world did he know I didn't have any energy? 

"Why do you say that?"   Then he circled 4 small areas on the x rays... "You see these 4 areas?"  "Yes"  "Ok these are small infections you have, I'd have to say your body is doing a really good job fighting these infections but I am sure you don't have much energy left for doing anything else... Once we get in there, remove the teeth, your gums should heal up and then you will have energy for other things!"  I started crying... Mostly, because I was grateful he said they could do it in the time table I needed and then because I realized I wouldn't ALWAYS be so tired...

Everyone say a prayer Chuck is doing ok today so my Gram Pam can come and laugh with me...

She can tell you guys if I really look 85... [yes I do]

Tooth fairies and doggies

 

Good Saturday morning everybody,

I have a question for all you dog owners out there... Does your dog ever bark at something that isn't there? This has only happened to me one other time...

A few years ago, Sam got a call about some gas in a house we were remodeling and had to run out the door to check on it at 11pm one night... About 20 minutes after he left, Rider stands up on my bed, and starts barking at something in my room that I could not see... his hackles were up and he was on guard...

[It freaked me out, I left the room and wouldn't go back to bed till Sam came home] and it never happened again till today...

I go downstairs to make coffee this morning and a few minutes later Rider is in the backyard barking his head off, standing with his hackles all up, I go to see what he is barking at... I could see Rider but I couldn't see around the corner at what he was seeing... so Gi Gi runs next to him and she freaks out, hackles up, barking.... I was thinking someone was in my backyard... but I didn't want them to attack whoever it was yanno... I already had 3 boys on my couch downstairs... [I was actually thinking maybe a girl spent the night or something... heard me coming down the stairs and tried to run outside and hide or something? Hell, I didn't know]

I walk around the corner... to see who it is... and there was nothing there?

They were still barking and scared to come over to where I had walked...

[I thought maybe someone was crouching down behind my huge trash cans or something... again nothing?]

It was weird... like they could see a ghost or something...

 

Oooo I just figured it out... it was the tooth fairy coming to give me my money... damn it and they scared her off... hope she comes back, I need that money to help pay for my new 'gold grill' LOL 

[Sam was teasing me yesterday and said "Why don't you just put a diamond in one tooth... that would be better than a gold grill" hhhhhmmmm? that got me thinking... I wonder if I could have a bunch of teeth made, you know for different occasions... something scary for Halloween... maybe little Christmas trees for Christmas, diamonds for charity luncheons... hhhmmm?

I better decide before Monday... that is when they start fitting me for my new teeth... Monday 2pm, Tuesday, 2pm, Wednesday 2pm... then they head to the lab to be made... yah... can't wait... [looking like Mildred the 85 year toothless wonder is getting old] I will also find out when my 2nd surgery is...

 

August 14th it will all be over... who hoo only 20 more days...

Yesterday, was the worst as far as pain goes... My face just ached and ached all day... I even started crying and having a pity party... but I woke up today and felt a LOT better... I sure do wish I could EAT tho... I am so damn sick of soft food...

Last night, Sam made this pasta dish we thought I would be able to eat... but I couldn't... I ate one noodle after cutting it up into 4 pieces! So I made some Rice a Roni... and that was easy to eat... I had two plates full! I am losing weight... but its not fun... Phooey! I think it would be easier to eat if I had no teeth at all... but having 3 molars on one side, 3 on the other side and 5 front lower teeth I can't bite down on anything...  [The dentist had to leave some teeth in to be able to line up my new teeth and bite] I get those 11 teeth taken out in the next surgery... fun fun fun...

Sam tells me he is proud of me a lot which helps...

 

I had Gram Pam cracking up the other day when I went to see her and Chuck... I said "Pam I am thinking about getting some gold teeth, what do you think?" She cracked up then I said "No? Ok ... what if I have them put some braces on the new teeth, you know make it look like they are mine and I'm fixing them up" she laughed "Or wait maybe I should have them put one of the teeth out of line a little... you know so they don't look too perfect!"

 

I sure miss my Gram Pam... I know she has her hands full with Chuck being so sick... Everyone say a prayer for Chuck so he gets better and my Pam can come and cheer me up!!!

Hi everybody... I'm doing good!

Well its over... Whoo hoo... and you know what? All your thoughts and prayers made it easier... I thought it was going to be awful but its been ok...  I have been sleeping a lot...

They took 15 teeth yesterday, and would you believe it only took 45 minutes! I hated all the Novocain tho.... my whole mouth and most of my nose was numb for hours!!!

I do look like an 80 year old woman tho...  Its amazing how much your teeth keep your face from caving in...  I have 11 teeth left right now. I have only 5 teeth in the front on the bottom, and on the upper everything is gone except 3 molars on each side!

I am already getting sick of the soft diet!  A girl can only eat so much soup, yogurt and pudding!

24 hours countdown...

Yikes 24 hours till surgery... Oh boy... I am ready to have it done but scared to death its gonna hurt... Oooowweee...

 

I probably will be sleeping all day after surgery, but if you want to know how I did, you can email Gram Pam at ktchu9@aol.com she said she would email anyone back who asked...

 

Speaking of Gram Pam, I drove to Temecula yesterday to give her some support...  On Friday her hubby had to have major surgery. He had a bowel obstruction and they had to do emergency surgery... Chuck had been laid off recently and he didn't have insurance...  Wouldn't you know, the day after surgery, his old boss calls and wants him back at work! He is still in the hospital with no release date in sight yet! So give her some love and prayers!

 

I have to go fill my antibiotic script, and then we are heading to the High Desert house... Sam and I will drive down for surgery and then back up afterwards...

 

I do have to say this tho... knowing your going on an all liquid diet gives you permission to eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING your little heart desires... he he... and its been FUN... its almost over tho... darn it!

 

I am gonna miss you guys... be good while I am gone LOL

Tuesday's Surgery

Its Saturday morning and I am home alone... Wow... I havent been home alone in a long time! Sam and Kam went to a screen printing convention for the day and Kieffer went to the beach with friends...

 

So now its time for me to tell you guys about my upcoming surgery on Tuesday... I really have struggled with telling you guys because I am very self conscious about this...

 

 I have had teeth problems my whole life... I have had it all...

Inch and a half overbite as a toddler... food would just fall out of my mouth! Then orthodontics, head gear, retainers that went on for YEARS... Then I had to have a gum graph at age 14 with the braces [they cut a hole in the roof of my mouth and put it over the gums in my lower front teeth] That NEVER really worked... my gums just kept receding anyway...

Later I have had quadrant gum cleanings... root canals... bridges... you name it!

 

Back in 2000, I got a serious staph infection [I believe from a nail salon] I had to go to an infectious disease specialist to finally get it under control...

The heavy duty antibiotics made my teeth problems worse exponentially!

[You know how tetracycline, can turn teeth yellow? Well, the antibiotic they had me on seemed to just eat away at my teeth!]

 

7 teeth are broken off at the gum line...

 

I am getting it all done for my daughters wedding...

I want to smile at her wedding...

 

Maybe you haven't noticed but you NEVER see me smiling in a photo...

 

1st surgery [Tuesday 8:30am] 14 teeth are taken out...  

 

2nd surgery 11 more...  [In 2 weeks]

 

Implants will be in by August 14th

 

At least I will drop about 20 lbs on the liquid diet... Lord knows I could use that right now because I weigh 190 lbs... LOL 

 

So I guess I am telling you guys this because I need your prayers and your support...

Warning: Mike Alessi crash

Ok, I have to warn you this is a horrible crash at an MX track in Red Bud last weekend... It's our friend Mike Alessi... He is out for the season... My kids grew up racing with the Alessi brothers...

Anyway, I have not wanted to post this video for a couple of reasons...

1. I didn't want you guys to think I am crazy to allow my kids to do this sport... but I think you think that anyway...

2. It scares me, that this could happen to one of my kids...

However, I do believe in the power of prayer... so I have posted it so we can help him feel better soon...

His Grandmother called me yesterday and talked to me for about 45 minutes... I will be giving her a ride to the bridal shower... I have met her before... Nice lady...

Candice called me yesterday kinda bummed... Disneyland wrote her up for her hair...[because the underneath was darker than the top] so she had to color her hair darker and she was bummed!  What is really lame about that is Candice doesn't work with the crowds at DL, she is the back in the costume department! [remember she went to FIDM & UCLA for costume design]

Anyway, Candice don't worry we'll get it all fixed up for the wedding soon...

Sam and I are heading up to the hi desert house today... be back Wednesday... Can't wait to get there... 15 degrees cooler than 115... woo hoo...

Sunday...

We are home from racing and all is well... Kameron took a 5th, Kieffer took a 3rd and 5th plus brought home $25 in Yamabucks... It wasn't the best of race days... We could have done better! The results look nice but it wasn't pretty getting them! Kieffer went over the bars, had a face full of mud and had to throw his goggles off and race without them for 2 laps...

 

He is complaining his hip hurts and he wants an x-ray... I said "If I take you to get it x-rayed and the Dr. says you shouldn't race next weekend, what are you going to do?"  he said "I'm gonna race" so I said "Then I will wait till after next week to take you for an xray"  I think he pulled a hip muscle or something...  [He went over the bars on Thursday... that is when it happened]

So if he can practice on Saturday and do a race on Sunday... I think he's gonna live without an xray.

Now before you go telling me to take him for an xray... you need to consider the injuries I have lived through with him... you also have to remember I have an honorary MD after my name because of it!

 

Kameron on the other hand does need to go see the dentist this week as he chipped his front tooth and looks like he should be in Dumb and Dumber!

He didn't do it racing, he did it chewing on the cap of a water bottle! It is an old chip that had been fixed years ago... I think he was 9 years old when he first did it.

 

I have pictures of him being a goonie guy, spiking up his hair and smiling like Dumb and Dumber! However, you'll have to wait because I am going to bed...

I am tired and ready for bed... Its 6:22pm...

Hope everyone still has fingers and had a good time yesterday ;) 

 

I told you about our leaky air conditioner yesterday... We woke up to the ceiling dripping water in my bedroom!

Drip, Drip, Drip, I thought it was in the bathroom faucet, so I got out of bed to turn it off and found out it was the ceiling! We thought it was a leaky pipe in the attic, but after Sam got up in the attic, he realized it was the overflow condensation pan. After two trips to Home Depot, and many trips up to the dirty attic... he fabricated a new condensation pan and it was fixed after 3 hours!!! Poor guy!  I am so lucky he fixes stuff around here! How in the world would we have been able to get an HVAC fix it man to our house on 4th of July? It wouldn't have happened... They would have told us, they could get here in 2 weeks... [I live in a HOT place and people want their air conditioning NOW!]

 

Speaking of hot... We had some weird weather yesterday! It was a Cloudy 105 with 30% humidity... and we HATED it... Eeeewwwwyyyyy... I would rather have had 115 with 7% humidity! I swear I do not know how you guys do it? Your crazy... 80 with 80% humidity would make me miserable! Seriously! The air felt so thick to us... yuck!

 

Anyway, we had a nice day after the air conditioning thing!  I went to the store while Sam was in the attic... then after I came home and unloaded the

groceries... then Sam and I took a nap... I love naps in the afternoon!!!

 

Then we got up and started getting dinner going, after that we jumped in the pool... As we are in the pool... Joe [Kieff's friend] and his DAD come walking out to the backyard... We weren't expecting that! However I knew someone would show up unexpectedly and bought extra fix in's!

So we had a bar b que with Kameron, Kieffer, Kieff's friends Kevin, Joe, Kieffer's NOT girlfriend Aggie, Kamerons g/f Amber, Joe's Mom and Dad...

I love Joe's Mom and Dad... They helped me so much when I ran the high school football program... His Mom did anything I asked... snack bar, t-shirt sales, serving pre game meal... she was great!

Poor Joe had two sets of parents teasing him yesterday [Sam and I plus his parents]

Today we woke up and headed to Glen Helen for practice... the boys did really well... they stayed at the track tonight... with Kevin and Joe [my wayward children LOL] After practice they went to Joe's grandparents house to swim [they have a HUGE pool with a diving board] Kameron told us the first thing the Grandparents asked

"Any piercings?" The boys said "Nope" "Any tattoo's?" The boys said "Nope" and the Grandparents said "Ok then... you can go swimming" I was so happy to hear that... as I am so anti-tattoo... not on other people just on my kids... They are everywhere here... I tell them all the time "Be different and NOT get one" they tease me "Yup, I'm getting one Mom... I'm getting Silva across my back" I tease back "If you do... your cut out of the will"

Kieffer's friend 'Sir Lance a Little' has 3 tattoos and I tell him everytime he comes over "Lance your cut out of the will"

 

So anyway I gotta go skinny dippin with my hubby because WE ARE HOME ALONE... Can you believe it!!!!

 

 

An old post from 4th of July 2005

Sam just ran back to Home Depot for another part for the air conditioner so I thought I'd post a story from July 4th 2005...   "Calm down Mom"

HAPPY 4th!!!!! EVERYONE

It is a quiet one here because boys are at football camp!!!  YOO HOO!  I drove 3 hours to San Diego yesterday to drop them off... In the middle of the drive a sleeping Kameron wakes up and says

"OH MY GOD" 

"What?" 

"Oh No!!!"  

"What? Kameron?"

"Oh great... I forgot my cleats at home!" 

[part of me wanted to kill him! This is the kid I have been bitching at for 3 days to pack and get ready]

"I am ready! Mom calm down, what is there to pack? Athletic shorts, gear, t-shirts... I'm packed... All I need to grab are my pillow and blankets... Chill... God you get so crazy!" 

"Well, Kameron if you hadn't forgotten your brand new wakeboard during the last trip we went on then I guess I wouldn't worry! Pardon me if it seems you forget a major thing 6 out of 10 times!" 

"If I forget something.... I forget it... I'll live!"

[I was dreaming of making him play on astro turf in skate shoes... that imagine went poof when I saw him sliding and breaking something...]

I was going to say "Where do you get this from... must be your father's side... when all of a sudden it dawned on me I left my purse at our place in lake havasu and I was lucky to have a $100 bill on me!  I decided not to say I told you so... I was trying to come to terms with the fact he gets it from me... I have a good excuse!  5 kids...Suddenly, I snap to and hear the conversation going on in the car...

"Kameron excuses are like assholes everyone has one and they stink!"

"Hey! Watch your mouth... now everyone look for a Sportmart!"

Happy 4th of July!!!

  My 4th of July is starting of with a clogged pipe to my upstairs air conditioner!  So Sam just went to Home Depot after climbing in the attic space [after a shower... poor guy!]

After Sam fixes it we are going to the grocery store for bar b que food... Mmmm yummy... then we will bar b que and swim in the pool... when it gets dark I will stay upstairs with my poor Rider who HATES fireworks and tries to crawl under things and shakes...

Saturday we head back to Glen Helen to practice for the Dealer Series on Sunday. Kieffer is going to stay in the trailer over-night with some friends...

Monday we have the day off to rest and Tuesday we head to the High Desert to get work done... The kitchen is getting measured for new cabinets and a concrete guy is coming by to give us an estimate...

Come home by Wednesday, to practice Glen Helen again on Thursday... practice Saturday and race the last race on Sunday...

Greg and Sherry story as I see it... Pics fixed

I already posted the photos of my day at Glen Helen so lets get to that email I got today... Sheesh is she pissed or what? 

I have no idea why she sent that to me? I NEVER call their house or email her WTH?

Maybe she thought I would call Greg's cell phone and tell him?

 

We haven't talked to Greg, we are NOT getting involved in that whole mess!

 

I have known Greg since I was 18 years old...

Greg and Sam have been friends since the Freshman Football team...

He is OUR friend no matter what... Spouses may come and Spouses may go but HE is OUR friend... You know what I mean?

Greg is not perfect... He shouldn't have cheated, it was wrong...

 

I believe "when the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence... Honey its time to start watering yours"

 

That being said... I also have to say... it was a very strange marriage... I don't know what happened but I do know a few things about them...

 

They were married about 6 years ago...

[two years ago]

 

She is a loud outspoken woman... let me put it this way... about a month ago... Sherry showed up at the high desert house because she was driving by and saw the guys on the roof...  She is SO loud... Gram Pam who was inside at the time said later "Who in the hell was that? I thought I was a loud person but she takes the cake!"

At that time Sherry was bitching to us about how much time Greg has been spending at the Lake... she said something like "He has spent almost the whole month of May at the Lake!  I am going in a couple of weeks... NOW is MY time to go... Oh and Greg made you guys a set of stairs for your trailer... you better get out there quickly everyone in the whole park wants them!"

 

I told her about Grampa dying and us being busy with that... Its why we havent been there yet... Instead of saying "Oh Im sorry to hear that" she says "AND you DIDN'T call Greg, so he could go to the funeral?"

To be honest Greg didn't know Sam's Dad that well...

I never even thought to pick up the phone and tell him?

 

Anyway, she is very bossy... are you getting that?  Kieffer says "Sherry wears the pants in the family, but Greg controls the zipper"  so as you can see my kids have picked up on it... You also have to realize my kids have spent a lot of time working with Greg, he was our construction foreman on the Newport Beach and Redondo Beach remodels... We had to let him go last November when we ran out of work for him.

 

Ok... so where was I... Oh ya... some weird stuff I have heard from Greg...

 

Last summer we were at their trailer in Havasu to have dinner... a bunch of us and Sherry was cooking... He would try to be loving, and she would push him away...  Anyway, she made WAY to much food... and I commented on the army she wasn't feeding that night? Sherry was in the trailer and we all were sitting outside at the picnic table... Greg said something like "She is addicted to food"  and someone else said "Oh too bad she isn't addicted to dick" as a joke to lighten the tense mood from her pushing him away...  then Greg says "No she used to be addicted to LICK"... Whoa...you could have heard a pin drop on that one! So I thought maybe Greg was just trying to be funny that night... but then when he worked for us, he would make comments about her and her lesbian lover assistant... 

Anyway... that night at the Lake when I was helping Sherry clean up after dinner... I noticed the master bedroom bed in the trailer looked brand new... comforter was perfect, pillows were perfect on the bed... it was show room perfect... so I said "Sherry, do you make the bed like that everyday?  It looks brand new!"

"Oh we have never slept on it... I sleep here on the couch and Greg sleeps in the back bunk! We don't sleep together" I was kind of shocked... I HAVE to spoon with my hubby every night or I can't sleep... but I thought who am I to judge... my Grandparents had separate bedrooms and they were married for over 50 years! 

Anyway... are you getting the picture here? It was a very strange marriage...

 

Just a month ago, when she came by the house... Sam said to me "That marriage is never going to work, they each live their own lives, they are not a team... she is going to find a reason to boot him to the curb, you watch"

 

Well, I guess Greg just gave her the reason didn't he?

 

I am sure we will get the details when we get to Havasu... Trust me, in a small trailer park like that... If you don't know what your doing, its okay because everyone else does!

Remember Greg? Sam's high school friend...? Who just happened to have the trailer down the street in Havasu from us?

During Halloween I told you the scary story of staying at his place in Parker AZ [the pliers]

I'll tell you the whole story about him when I get back from Glen Helen...

but sheesh...  how would you feel if you got this email?

BTW: Can you tell she is an attorney?  Sam said it would never work and I guess he is right... 

 

Please be advised that Greg has cheated on me while in Havasu with some white trash waitress at the Turtle Bar and who knows who else. This occurred in the past few months while I have been working daily and paying all the bills and expenses including the cruise to Alaska and he is doing nothing to earn a dime or act as a responsible adult.  I knew there was a reason he insisted on going to the lake instead of working or even looking for work.  I  am filing for divorce because I am tired of supporting a cheater and self centered lazy loser.  Out of respect for my feelings, please do not contact me and ask or otherwise inquire about Greg or anything regarding our ill fated marriage.

Wednesday:

Yesterday Sam and I ran up to the high desert to drop off some stuff... OMG the weather there is so perfect... 20 degrees cooler than here in the lower desert.  I sat on my swing and watched Bolts playing in the kiddie pool.  We had to take her with us because I was worried Kieffer was going to kill her... She chewed up his Ethernet cord for the 3rd time!  Now he put a surfboard rug across it so hopefully she won't do it again!  She also chewed up the cushion in a chair downstairs.... [the big chair in the living room]  I put some pillows on it so Sam doesn't see it!    Grrrrr.... 

wanna know why God made puppies cute? So you don't kill them! That is my theory anyway...

 

Sam is currently working on bikes in the garage... changing fork seals, changing tires and singing... He always has the stereo going in there...

He always has music going period... We have speakers through out the house, backyard, and garage.  Our neighbors must love us!

 

Anyway, where was I? 

 

Oh yes... the bikes... Sam is getting them ready, then we are going to the office to get the trailer we bought for Texas... Woo Hoo! We bought that trailer because I couldn't handle the porta potties anymore!  The last few Dealer Series races we have been in the old trailer... I said "Hey, why did we buy the new trailer if we are not going to use it? I HATE the Porta potties! Ewwww... they are SO nasty!" plus the new trailer has air conditioning for between races, beds to lay down and rest on, refrigerator... TV's in  it...

I called the manager at Glen Helen and she said we can leave the trailer there from Thursday practice till Sunday... Woo Hoo... No driving it back and forth... NICE...

So we have 2 more Dealer Series races and then we can focus on getting the boat ready and heading to Lake Havasu... I am so ready for Havasu!

Speaking of boats... we actually have two... our old one and our new one...

I guess Kameron and his g/f Amber are planning a trip with 2 other couples to Havasu and they asked to use the old boat... Sam said "Ok Kameron, but you have to get it water ready, not me... it needs new batteries and if you want to pay for them and clean up the old boat... then you can borrow it... but I have a ton of stuff on my plate right now... you have to do it" So Amber and Kameron went to the shop and washed it all day Saturday... We'll see if he actually gets it up and running and ready to go... hhhmmm? Not to mention having to gas it up when they get there... Its a good little boat we just grew out of it...

Lets see what else has been going on... Oh!

Sam and Kendra's home for Wayward Children has 2 vacancies! Woo Hoo... I asked Kieffer "Where is Kevin and Joe?"

"Oh I sent them home"

I think they were upset when Kieffer would spend time with a girl and ignore them... I told Joe "But your here everyday Joe... its not like he plans on spending time with you guys and then he ditches you? He hangs with you guys 24/7 and for a couple of hours hangs with a girl"

Kieffer has a small harem going... because he doesn't have a girlfriend... they all want him to be their boyfriend but he says

"I'm too fast for love"

[reference to motocross]

He does however say he is methodically going through the alphabet LOL 

Let's see... so far he has been seeing Aggie or Augustina, Ashley, Audra and I forget the latest ones name...

I always ask him "Aren't you worried they are going to run into each other" "No, I don't care if they do... I don't have a girlfriend" 

Ok Kieffer whatever...

I can understand why they like him... The kid has a ton of fun, he is so funny too...

He says the most off the wall stuff with the straightest face... He will say something like "Mom, do you know that guy named Paul?"

"No who is Paul"

"Its not important, but if you meet him... walk away from him... he'll try to introduce you the astronaut ... you DON'T want to meet the astronaut... Its a horrifying thing he does with an apple, 3 carrot sticks and a matchbox car... Really... do yourself a favor, stay away from Paul because you'll never be the same"

 

and he'll walk away leaving you thinking...

Tuesday:

I went to the 'very cute' eye Dr. yesterday and he said "Welcome to your 40's" but everything else was fine! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something besides being in my 40's...  I had them take a picture of my eye for future reference... the eyeball is a weird thing to look at on a computer...

When I was leaving he said "Wow, you must have had some hip parents, to be 40 with a name like Kendra"  I laughed  I wanted to say "Oh ya, that was my parents Mr. & Mrs. Hip..." Right I don't think so. However it did get me thinking. I wish someone would have told me why I was named that... My Mom told me it was my Grandma who named me Kendra Rose and that I was lucky my cousin came along before me because then I would have been a RoseAnn...

I just wish I knew where she saw or heard the name Kendra because that was a crazy name for 1965... 

I think I am going to make a sign for my front door... "Sam and Kendra's Home for Wayward Children... No Vacancies"  I swear to you... Kieffer's friends Joe and Kevin have been sleeping on my couch for a week!

Yesterday, they all drove to Temecula to pick up Corey [Glam Pam's 13 year old Grandson] I think he is staying till we go to Glen Helen...

 

Oopps gotta run to the office with Sam...
