My heart hurts today...

I have to make this quick because I have to go work out... but my heart is truly broken this morning...
Kameron moved out last night... saying he is never coming back...

You know I think Sam and I are pretty good parents... I wish I could come back as one of my kids... I wish I had parents like we are...

We give 110% to the kids and all we ask for back is respect and help around the house...
Let me ask you this...  All Kameron has had to do is train and workout for racing... he is 19 years old...  he wanted to go back to racing... I didn't really want them to go back... I dont want to go through watching my kids get hurt anymore... Kieffer's last injury did me in... I mean the one before the broken leg in football... the broken arm and leg one...  The osteomyalitis that still hasn't healed in his arm...
Anyway... worst thing I ever did was take them out of racing... I know you will find that hard to believe but you have to understand when you are a racing family... there is no time for girlfriends, or going to parties on weekends... you are not home... well take Kameron [popular football player]
the girls, the other players, Senior Year and well... you have receipe for "everything else is more important than my family"

He gained weight over the year he has been off from High School... 30 lbs,[hence the trainer the boys go to 3 days a week], he had hoped to go back to racing and be at the same level he left... no such luck... but his brother Kieffer now over his fear of getting hurt has been bringing home the trophies left and right...
Kameron had become lazy.. very very lazy... for example... at the dinner table after dinner... Kameron would eat slowly [his special food Sam would make for him... fish for weight loss!!!] then he would sit there till every dish was cleared... this was getting so bad... he would ignore me when I say get up and help!
Yesterday, him and I were suppose to go do cardio at the gym together... I try waking him up 4 times... I am sitting on the stairs waiting for his lazy ass to get up at 1:30pm... Sam is in Newport, the Truck was in the shop [$900 later] so I asked his old girlfriend Rachel to take us [She works in our office and comes on Tuesdays to help me around the house]
"I cant be seen in Rachels car, my girlfriend will get mad"
Ok... so I call the shop... truck is done... I have Rachel take me and I pick up the truck... come back home...
Honk.... Honk Honk... Honk Honk Honk.... nothing
Call Kameron... "Im waiting......"
wait.... wait.... wait....
Kameron comes out.... walks over to a car with 2 girls in it [not his girlfriend]
talks to them... plays with the dog...
Im waiting..... waiting.....
getting pissed....
Gets in the truck...
1/2 way to the Gym
"I forgot my key and earphones"
steam is now billowing out of my ears...
Goes inside and gets them....

[This is after his father went OFF on him about this kind of stuff on Monday]

"You know what Kameron... I dont GET you want to race... I really GOT when you wanted to play football.... You couldn't even finish your 2nd race on Sunday... Your result sheet has a slew of DNF's... [did not finish]... if you want this... you have to work harder at it..."

Long story longer... he blew up at me ... when we got to the Gym... he bailed
"Ill walk home that will be my cardio for the day"

Ok that took 2 hours for a 30 minute walk!  Can you say... I wanted to go do something else?

gotta go to the Gym more later...

Say a prayer my son gets his head on straight soon...

I'm sorry all of ths is happening, but he needs to know that his behavior is unnacceptable to you.  He needs to start growing up.  Let him see what real life is all about.  I'm sure maybe he will recognize that he didn't have it so bad at home.  Take care Chickie.

Oh Sweety, I am so sorry. He has a lot of growing up to do.
You guys are awesome parents, he will soon realize that.  I am so sorry your heart is hurting. I wish I could do something or say something.
Big hugs, and love
Ellen

Kameron WILL be back...these teens or young adults need to grow up and realize the real world is hard and he has no right to treat you two as he does! I love you, lisa jo
