My Sunday with Sam

 

I wake up this morning and Sam had already showered and was heading to... Guess where?  Yup Home Depot! 

[We do have a serious bee thing going on and he needed more wasp killer...] He called me when he was leaving Home Depot and asked if I wanted to go to Borders to look at books... So I said "Sure"...  he came home, sprayed more bee killer and we took off...

First we went to get gas... 48.00 to fill up our little 'grocery getter' car... or as I call her Fredarica the Ford Focus LOL

Then we went to the car wash... as we were waiting I said "Honey I should have brought my camera... its her first bath" he laughed

 

After she was all pretty, we drove to Rancho Mirage ['The playground of President's'] to go to 'The River' [its a shopping plaza with a river of water running through it] When we pulled into the River Sam said "Hey you wanna go see a movie?" I said "Sure lets go see what is playing"  The movie Get Smart was starting in a few minutes so we bought tickets...

Now I have to tell you guys something...

I LOVE movie popcorn! Love it!!! This is what always happens when Sam and I go to movies... I munch down about a half a bag of popcorn then I say "Honey, take this away from me" and he does... then about 15 minutes later I always ask for it back and he hands it back to me...

So there we are... watching 'Get Smart' and I can tell he is getting bored... [Its an ok movie... but I would wait for the video to come out] He keeps trying to make out with me... which I wouldn't do with a mouth full of popcorn! Eeeewww... So finally, I ask him to take the popcorn away and he does...

15 minutes later... I ask for the popcorn back and he shakes his head no, lifts up his eyebrows a couple of times and dumps a handfull of popcorn in his lap... as if to say... you want the popcorn... get it out of my lap... I laughed so hard... I thought that was so funny...

 

Maybe its a had to be there moment...

 

Anyway, after the movies we went to Borders Book store and who do we run into?  Kieffer's Orthopedic Surgeon... Dr. McClennan... he was standing at the magazine rack, reading a Long Boader surf magazine!  We said hello and asked him what he was doing "Oh just waiting for my next surgery to begin at Eisenhower"

[duh he was in surgical scrubs]

 

Then Sam took me to Mimi's Cafe across the street for lunch! Yummy! I told him "Honey, I had so much fun with you today!"  he replied in a low sexy voice like my secret lover

"You'll have to sneak out more often then!"

 "Oh just come by and get me whenever you can HE is ALWAYS at Home Depot anyway" and he laughed 

 

I LOVE it when he does that!!!
