Ok, I have to warn you this is a horrible crash at an MX track in Red Bud last weekend... It's our friend Mike Alessi... He is out for the season... My kids grew up racing with the Alessi brothers...
Anyway, I have not wanted to post this video for a couple of reasons...
1. I didn't want you guys to think I am crazy to allow my kids to do this sport... but I think you think that anyway...
2. It scares me, that this could happen to one of my kids...
However, I do believe in the power of prayer... so I have posted it so we can help him feel better soon...
He was 2nd in the points for the season when this happened...

OH MY GOD....It was bad enough that he fell off, but then other bikes kept riding OVER him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as allowing your kids to do it, I find kids want to do something all the more, & less safely, when their parents don't "allow" it. I know kids who speedboat, compete in horseback jumping & play ice hockey. It is all dangerous..... ~Mary

LORD HAVE MERCY... thank goodness he's alive. Well heck yeah I think you all are crazy, but there are possible injuries to any type sport. You take chances regardless of what you do so might as well do something you enjoy.
