uterus... its 'contained' and they are going to do a hysterectomy soon...
So Pam and I were talking the other day and she said she had to have an ultrasound done before surgery... She has been really worried... we all have... so I thought I'd make a joke... lighten things up a bit...
"Pam... when they are done with the ultra sound... turn to the person doing it... and ask... Is it a boy or a girl?" Pam busted up laughing...
God I love her... she 'gets' my jokes...
So Pam and her friend go to the ultrasound appointment... It was not a fun thing... they took a another biopsy... all the way up in her uterus...
pap-smear's are not fun... imagine them having to go all the way up to your uterus right? [Sorry Phil]
So the Dr. is all serious talking to them about whether the hysterectomy will be vaginal or how they may have to cut her open... talking about taking lymph nodes... blah blah blah... "Do you have any questions?" says the Dr.
Then her friend says "I have one question... was it a boy or girl?"
Suddenly, Pam busted out laughing... she said the look on the Dr.'s face was priceless!
Then they explained the joke to him and he lightened up...
See not everybody 'gets' my jokes... Pam 'gets' them tho...

And you know what? Pam will be JUST FINE because she has an AWESOME sense of humor....just like my firned Kendra....

I see these biopsies every day. Pam, the odds are in your favor that they will get it all and you will be ok.

Damn Kendra, i know i commented on this...............hmmmmm?? Anyway, it did liven things up in that drs office for sure, thank God i had my friend Dawn there......she is the one that remembered to ask the big q!! LOL Not to mention everything that the dr wanted to tell me...........see how i need you girl! Thats no joke.....i have a hard time remembering it all after they did that biopsy.........OMG i thought that he was doing the damn hystectomy..........without any pain killers!! Thank you to everyone for all the prayers, i sure appreciate them all.....and i want you all to know, that i will come out of this just fine!! So how is that lake surviving without us anyway......................i truly think we need to go and make sure that everything is ok there......LOL
